Being a Champion of Character is a choice:
Show RESPECT for yourself, your teammates, your coach, your opponent, and the officials.
Take RESPONSIBILITY for yourself and your school work.
Show INTEGRITY by being honest, and making your actions meet your words.
Show SERVANT LEADERSHIP by helping others less fortunate than yourself.

Softball Think Pink

Softball Hosts "Think Pink" Event

The William Woods University softball team hosted a "Think Pink" event on Tuesday, April 13. The Owls hosted McKendree University in an American Midwest Conference doubleheader, and used the game to help spread awareness about breast cancer.

 

William Woods used the event to solicit funds for cancer research. All proceeds from the event were donated to the Susan G. Komen cancer foundation.

 

WWU Area Coordinator Amanda Reckamp, and the Department of Student Life provided T-shirts and food for students in attendance.
